Important information when sending or receiving a wire transfer.

Here's what you need to send a wire transfer from Scotiabank to another institution:

  1. Beneficiary Full Name & Address ( no P.O. Box addresses)
  2. Beneficiary Bank Full Name & Address ( no P.O. Box addresses)
  3. Beneficiary Account Number: IBAN Code/ Account (Mainly wires destined to Europe).
  4. Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code
  5. Beneficiary Bank ABA Code (Wire destined to USA)

Ensure that the SWIFT Code/ ABA entered corresponds to the desired Beneficiary Bank.
