The following definitions apply to these Terms and Conditions:

· “Cardholder" means the Primary Cardholder of a Personal Standard, Gold, AAdvantage, Aero Platinum or AAdvantage Black Mastercard®.

· "Promotional Period" refers to the period from March 27^th, 2026 to April 10^th, 2026.

· "Promotion" refers to this promotion and not to any of the Bank's other promotions or programs.

· “Eligible Purchase/Transaction” means any retail, internet, phone or mail order purchase or Point of Sale transaction (not including returns/debits or any fees and/or bank charges). Both local and international currency transactions are eligible.

· “Purchases" means any retail, internet, phone or mail order purchase or Point of Sale transaction.

· "Eligible Credit Cards" refers to the Personal Standard, Gold, AAdvantage, Aero Platinum or AAdvantage Black Mastercard®.

· "Good Standing" means that the account should not be overdue or overlimit by any amount.

· "Cashback Reward" refers to the amount that will be credited to a Cardholder's Scotiabank Mastercard credit card when they satisfy the criteria of completing the required amount of Eligible Purchases/Transactions during the Promotional Period.

.  “Participating Categories” refers to the type of industry for which the Cashback Reward will apply once the required number of Eligible Purchases/Transactions are made.

· "Scotiabank" or "the Bank" means Scotiabank (Barbados) Limited.

This Promotion is open to legal residents of Barbados who are 18 years of age or older. These terms and conditions shall also be governed by the applicable laws of Barbados.

1.1 ELIGIBILITY

·       This Promotion is open to legal residents of Barbados, who are 18 years of age or older, and are a valid Primary Cardholder of a Personal Standard, Gold, AAdvantage, Aero Platinum or AAdvantage Black Mastercard®.

·       Eligibility is restricted to Cardholders whose accounts are still active at the time of crediting the Cashback Reward, are in good standing and have not been frozen or closed.

·       All Eligible Purchases/Transactions will be considered towards the earning of Cashback Rewards.

.      Purchases/Transactions resulting from unauthorized card use or those made with lost, stolen or fraudulent Scotiabank credit cards will be considered void in the matter of this Promotion.

To qualify for Cashback in this Promotion, the Cardholder must complete a certain number of Eligible Purchases/Transactions (refer to table below) at Participating Categories during the Promotional Period.

1.2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE / DRAW PRIZES

·       All existing Eligible Credit Card Cardholders with an active status during the Promotional Period are eligible to participate.

·       Only Cardholders who are up-to-date with payments on their Eligible Credit Cards, and who do not have any overdue (delinquent) accounts on any other credit products held with Scotiabank, are eligible to participate in this Promotion.

·       Additionally, the following Credit Card statuses should not be associated with any Eligible Credit Card during the Promotional Period at the time of making purchases and receiving the Cashback Reward. These include but are not limited to: under a payment agreement, blocked, reported as stolen or lost, canceled or obtained illegally.

1.3. PROMOTION MECHANICS AND RULES

·       Cardholders who complete the required number of Eligible Purchases/Transactions of any amount at the following Participating Categories during the Promotional Period will receive 5% cashback, capped at BBD $100 or $150 based on their Eligible Credit Card type. No minimum spend is required. Participating Categories are as follows:

·       Home Improvement

·       Grocery Stores

·       Eating Places

·       Accommodation

·       Wholesale Trade

·       To be eligible to receive the Cashback Reward, the Cardholder must complete the minimum number of Transactions at any of the above-mentioned Participating Categories during the Promotional Period.

·       The Cashback will be credited to the Eligible Credit Card that was used to complete the Eligible Purchases/Transactions.

·      Participating Cardholders acknowledge that only Primary Cardholders who make purchases with an Eligible Credit Card during this Promotion will be eligible for the Cashback Reward. However, purchases made at the Participating Categories with any supplementary Eligible Credit Card will be counted toward meeting the minimum number of Eligible Purchases / Transaction.

·       Cash advances, purchases in casinos or for gambling, as well as card issuance, renewal fees, and interest charges, are not Eligible Purchases / Transactions.

·Any claims related to this Promotion must be submitted no later than forty-five (45) days after the end of the Promotion.  

1.4 TIMING OF CREDIT:

Provided that the Cardholder has satisfied the requirements of this Promotion, the Cashback Reward earned will be credited to the Cardholder's Eligible Credit Card account forty-five (45) days from the end of the Promotional Period.

1.5 CONSUMER DISCLOSURE:

·       Once a Cardholder uses any of the Eligible Credit Cards during the Promotional Period at any of the Participating Categories outlined above, it constitutes the Cardholder's consent to participate in this Promotion.

·       This Promotion is a limited-time promotion which will run from March 27^th, 2026 to April 10^th, 2026.

·       A Cardholder's reward earned through their participation in this Promotion will be forfeited if the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Promotional Period.

·       Cashback Rewards earned during this Promotion are not transferable and are subject to change at any time by Mastercard® and Scotiabank.

·       Scotiabank participates only as a means of payment and is not responsible for the products or services purchased by the Cardholder during the Promotional Period.

·       Cardholders who receive the Cashback Reward will be responsible for any expenses not explicitly stated as part of their reward, and must agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Bank from and against all claims, losses or damages resulting from participation in this Promotion.

·       The above Terms and Conditions are in addition to, and do not replace, the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Scotiabank Mastercard® Credit Card.

·       In all matters relating to this Promotion, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding in all respects.

·       Scotiabank has the right to exclude any individual from this offer in its absolute discretion without any obligation to provide notice or reason.

·       Scotiabank reserves the right in its absolute discretion to vary the terms and conditions of this Promotion or change or withdraw this Promotion at any time without giving any reason. In the event of a dispute arising from this Promotion, the Bank's decision is final.

These Terms and Conditions apply only to this Promotion and do not apply to any of the Bank's other promotions or programs or any other promotion or program in conjunction with the Bank and any other entity or brand.
