How-to pay your credit card with funds from your account.

Pay your credit card at any of our in-branch ATMs.

Let's get started. 

Follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Insert your ScotiaCard and enter PIN

Insert your Scotiabank debit card into the green slot, face up with the Scotiabank logo facing the machine.

When prompted, enter your four (4) digit PIN and wait for the Main Menu screen to appear.

Step 2 - Select More Transactions

If the "Credit Card Payment" button is not visible, select "More Transactions" to view additional features.

Step 3 - Select Credit Card Payment

Tap the "Credit Card Payment" button to pay your credit card.

Step 4 - Select the credit card

Select the credit card that you wish to make a payment towards.

Step 5 - Choose Payment by Account Transfer

With this method, you can transfer money from your existing Scotiabank Savings or Chequing account, on to your credit card.

Step 6 - Enter the transaction amount.

On this screen, you can enter a transaction amount or select from one of the suggested amounts.

Step 7 - Choose your account

Choose the account you would like to take the money from.

Step 8- Confirm the payment details

Confirm the payment details and click "yes" to continue.

Step 9 - Additional transaction prompt

On this screen you can select "Yes" to do another transaction or "No" to retrieve your card and exit.

Step 10 - Remove your card

When you're finished, remove your card to complete the transaction.
